Full-Time (Approx. 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday) About Us Parlor Interiors is a full-service boutique firm specializing in high-end residential interior design. We pride ourselves on delivering timeless, curated interiors with a deep commitment to quality, artistry, and service. Position Overview We are seeking a full-time Interior Designer to join our Miami studio. This role will support Senior Designers and project leads across all phases of design—from concept through installation. The ideal candidate is highly creative, technically proficient, organized, and thrives in a collaborative environment. A strong understanding of residential construction, custom furniture, and FF&E is essential. Key Responsibilities Design & Documentation Assist Senior Designers with the execution of design intent, including elevations, millwork, and custom furniture details Produce client-facing presentations: mood boards, color stories, and 2D/3D renderings Build 3D models using SketchUp/Layout and translate redlined construction sets into visual layouts Create and maintain ID drawing sets, specification sheets, and schedules Collaboration & Communication Interface with internal team, architects, contractors, vendors, and artisans to coordinate project milestones Attend site visits, vendor meetings, and walkthroughs as needed Take detailed meeting notes and track project deliverables and deadlines Sourcing & Procurement Support Source FF&E and finish samples (fabric, stone, metal, glass, etc.) Maintain client sample trays and presentation materials Coordinate trade/vendor outreach for pricing, product information, and sample requests Project Management Support Assist with construction administration tasks: submittals, RFIs, ASI/IDSK documentation Support in maintaining project schedules and tracking budgets Help ensure alignment across project documents and team communication Qualifications Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field preferred 3-5 years of experience in high-end residential design or a related discipline Proficient in: SketchUp/Layout, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite Strong technical knowledge of construction documents, millwork drawings, and detailing Excellent time management, written/verbal communication, and organizational skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced studio environment with shifting priorities Fluent in English; Spanish a plus Polished, professional demeanor with a positive, collaborative attitude Benefits We are proud to offer a comprehensive and thoughtfully curated benefits package that supports the well-being, flexibility, and professional development of our team, including:
