This is a hybrid role, working in our office 3 days and 2 days at home. Mon – Fri. 8 AM- 5PM Are you a highly skilled Interior Design Manager with a passion for hospitality renovations? We’re seeking a dynamic leader to manage our client’s design consultants, ensuring every project reflects our client’s brand’s excellence, stays within budget, and delights our stakeholders. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, overseeing up to 25 concurrent design projects across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean. What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from a CIDA-accredited program or equivalent. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. 6-8 years of progressive experience in hospitality or commercial design, with a strong preference for hospitality renovation. Exceptional written and oral communication skills are essential. Solid understanding of construction management , including terminology, codes, life safety, and project delivery from concept to closeout. Familiarity with reserve programs, useful life expectations, and value of interior and exterior components. Proven ability to provide outstanding customer service to internal and external partners. Demonstrated leadership skills to guide and supervise design teams throughout the project lifecycle. Experience establishing and managing relationships with outsource design firms . Proficiency in interpreting budgets and legal/contractual documentation . Expertise in Revit or AutoCAD is required. Proficient with Adobe Photoshop & InDesign and Microsoft Suite . Experience with specification writing software is a plus. How You’ll Shine Oversee our client’s design firms , ensuring projects meet budget, timeline, and scope for up to 25 simultaneous projects. Prepare and manage Requests for Proposals (RFPs) , actively bidding multiple renovation projects to external design firms and ensuring adherence to strict brand standards, quality, budget, and timelines. Review bids with management and make award recommendations. Onboard outsourced design firms, setting clear expectations for all stakeholders. Conduct site visits to resorts (up to 35% travel, including international, requiring a passport) to evaluate project scope, schedule, and budget, and meet with key stakeholders. Lead weekly project reviews with outsourced designers to maintain schedule and budget adherence. Participate in QA/QC meetings to ensure accurate documentation for Project Management and Procurement Teams. Promptly respond to RFIs and review all project submittals. Enforce brand standards across all projects. Potentially manage your own interior design projects, encompassing concept design through construction documents, specifications, space planning, Furniture Fixtures & Equipment selection, budget management, installation documents, and construction administration. #
