• Position Summary
• As a
• Design and Sales Specialist
• , you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and design expertise. You will guide customers through the selection and design process for their kitchen and bath projects, create computer layouts using Pro Kitchen design software, and manage the sales process from initial inquiry to project completion. This is a full-time, in-store position with some Saturday hours required.
• Key Responsibilities
• Design and Sales
• Greet walk-in customers and assist with product selection in the showroom and warehouse
• Translate customer visions into detailed kitchen and bath designs using Pro Kitchen design software from provided measurements
• Consult with customers on product options, layout possibilities, and provide accurate estimates
• Follow through with sales from initial consultation to project completion, including diligent follow-up on estimates and closing sales
• Input sales into POS or project management software and process customer payments.
• Customer Service and Project Management
• Provide outstanding service throughout the entire sales process, including timely responses to calls and emails (within 24 hours)
• Keep customers informed about project status and proactively manage all aspects of their experience
• Accurately place orders, follow up with manufacturers, track shipments, and coordinate with the warehouse for order check-in
• Ensure all project details are updated in Co-Construct (project management system)
• Collect deposits and schedule installations upon order arrival.
• Product Knowledge
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cabinetry, countertops, flooring products, and current design trends to guide customer selections
• Occasionally assist with in-home measurements and design modifications.
• Teamwork
• Collaborate effectively with office staff, warehouse personnel, installers, and other designers
• Foster a positive, flexible team environment and contribute to the overall success of Lakeland Liquidation.
• Required Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Sales experience with cabinetry and flooring products
• Proficiency with cabinet design software (2020 or ProKitchen
• Knowledge of cabinetry, countertops, flooring products, and installation procedures
• Experience with field measurements
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Preferred Qualifications
• Construction or remodeling experience
• Bilingual (Spanish/English
• AA or BA in construction, design, or related field
