Job DescriptionAt our design firm, we are committed to excellence in every aspect of our work. We are seeking a Design Associate who is articulate, personable, and highly detail-oriented. This individual will collaborate closely with our team to achieve project goals while maintaining clear and professional communication with contractors and vendors.

Key strengths include:

Coordinating and collaborating with design teamCurating and evaluating comprehensive design selections, including furniture, flooring, artwork, fabrics and finishes, drapery, tile, lighting, millwork, cabinetry, hardware, and paint.

Providing design solutions throughout project phasesCreating AutoCAD drawings of floor plans and elevations for furniture, lighting, and artworkManaging and tracking project forecasts while meeting deadline expectationsCommunicating project expectations with team membersConducting site visits as needed, with excellent client serviceCreating, placing, and following up on ordersPresenting design ideas and details with confidence and enthusiasmParticipating in FF&E installationsSupporting the growth of the organization by contributing to the team culture and overall goalsQualificationsAt least 4+ years in the fieldBachelors of Interior Design in CIDA accredited programCreative residential design experience, high-end residential is a plusProficiency of AutoCAD is requiredAbility to use Apple softwaresAbility to take initiative, and to be a team playerExhibits a committed work ethicFosters and maintains a positive attitudeCompetency to plan, execute, and complete projects effectively and efficiently.

Careful and attentive with detailsAbility prioritize tasks and meet timelines for multiple projectsStrong verbal and written communication skillsMust be able to thrive in a fast-paced, sometimes high-pressure environment
