Full-Time Position Overview:

The Project Designer provides design services to dealership customers, including but not limited to site/inventory verifications, programming, space planning, typical development, furniture specifications, material selection, installation drawings, and site-to-plan review. This individual collaborates with Sales, Client Services, Design, and installation firms, as well as customers, to ensure accurate plans and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Design process: work with salesperson, customer, and Designers to create and present plans that meet client’s needs and budget Site review: measure site, check plan-to-site accuracy, inventory existing product, produce as-built drawings/specifications, reconfigure as needed

Specification:

prepare drawings for installation, generate product specifications, verify specifications against plans, use electronic specification program Manage changes and revisions throughout the design process Support product proposal presentations to customers Keep electronic project documentation, including key decisions, conversations, approvals, sign-offs, and meeting notes Communicate regularly to customer and dealership regarding design project status Other duties as assigned by the

Director of Design Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Bachelor’s degree in interior design required 1-2 years’ previous contract furniture industry experience required Experience with Auto CAD/Revit required Knowledge of commercial furniture and planning standards required Previous experience with CET and/or

CAP 2020
