Custom Home Designer
A growing luxury custom home builder is seeking a Custom Home Designer to join their team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll oversee the design vision for both speculative and custom homes, from interior architectural selections to working closely with the construction team to bring your designs to life.
Designer Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute design concepts for custom homes, including selections for tile, cabinetry, lighting, plumbing fixtures, stone, paint, and more
Create detailed design documents and specifications for the construction team
Manage material orders, track delivery, and ensure installations align with the design vision
Conduct site visits to confirm design execution and quality
Collaborate with the project team to ensure smooth project flow
Designer Qualifications:
3+ years of experience as a Custom Home Designer, interior designer, or architectural designer
Degree in Interior Design or Architecture; NCIDQ certification a plus
Proficiency in AutoCAD (required), Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), and Microsoft Office; SketchUp or Revit is a bonus
Strong attention to detail, project management skills, and ability to juggle multiple tasks
Passion for high-end residential design and the ability to bring creative concepts to life
Designer Compensation & Benefits:
