Senior Interior Designer – Commercial Furniture
Location:
Atlanta, GA | Hybrid (4 days onsite / 1 remote)
Salary:
$70K-$85K base + quarterly incentive + discretionary bonus
Immediate Start | Portfolio Required with Application My client is a leading commercial furniture dealership in Atlanta, seeking an Interior Designer to join our dynamic and collaborative design team. In this client-facing role, you will play a critical part in shaping innovative and functional interior environments for our commercial, healthcare, and government clients.
What You’ll Do:
Lead space planning and furniture layout design for a variety of commercial spaces (workstations, lobbies, conference rooms, etc.)
Collaborate with internal sales teams, project managers, and external design firms from concept through installation
Translate floor plans into high-performing environments using CET, AutoCAD, and SPEC
Present design concepts and portfolios to clients and stakeholders with clarity and confidence
Oversee 6-8 projects simultaneously, each in a different phase of development
Participate in weekly design team meetings to track project progress and success metrics
Mentor junior designers and support internal design best practices
What We’re Looking For:
5+ years of commercial interior design experience, ideally in furniture design and specification
Expertise in CET Designer is a must; working knowledge of AutoCAD and SPEC is strongly preferred
Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects with exceptional attention to detail
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for clients and cross-functional team engagement
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field #MISC123
