The ideal candidate will have a passion for interior design and a strong understanding of kitchen layouts and functionality. This role involves collaborating with clients to create innovative kitchen designs that meet their needs and preferences while ensuring aesthetic appeal and practicality. The Kitchen Designer will also be responsible for upselling products and services, maintaining client relationships, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the design process. Responsibilities Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and requirements for kitchen renovations. Utilize design software such as 2020 to create detailed kitchen layouts and 3D renderings. Provide expert advice on lighting design, cabinetry, countertops, and appliances to enhance kitchen functionality and aesthetics. Conduct inside sales by promoting products and services effectively, including upselling additional features or upgrades. Maintain organized project documentation, including client notes, design plans, and sales records using POS systems. Ensure all designs comply with safety regulations and industry standards while meeting client expectations. Stay updated on the latest trends in interior design and kitchen renovations to provide clients with innovative solutions. Experience Proven experience in kitchen design or interior design is preferred. Proficiency in design software such as 2020 is essential. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience in lighting sales or lighting design is a plus. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. A background in inside sales or customer service is beneficial for success in this role.
