This position is full-time and must be performed in-office. The store is open Monday – Friday 8am-5pm. We are closed on weekends

Job Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious K&B Designer/Salesperson who thrives in a competitive environment and is passionate about building customer relationships. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, reliable, and adept at follow-up, with a strong desire to expand our customer base. Previous experience in flooring sales or outside sales is a significant advantage, as is a connection to the Baton Rouge area network. Business-to-business experience and excellent customer management skills are also preferred. Our compensation is $18.00-$25.00 an hour with a generous commission

Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development:

Proactively seek out new business opportunities and build a robust customer base through networking, referrals, and targeted outreach. Develop and maintain relationships with key business clients and industry contacts within the Baton Rouge network. Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand clients’ K&B requirements and provide tailored solutions. Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience from initial contact through to post-installation follow-up. Work with flooring Account Managers for upsell opportunities and referrals

Product Knowledge and Promotion:

Stay up-to-date with the latest K&B products, trends, and technologies to effectively advise clients and make informed recommendations. Present and demonstrate K&B options, including samples, to clients and highlight the benefits and features of our products.

Administrative Duties:

Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and transaction details. Handle customer inquiries, address concerns, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus. Previous experience in flooring sales or outside sales is highly desirable. Customer service experience Proven track record in business-to-business sales and customer management. Established connections within the Northshore network is a plus.
