Job Description

Interior Designer Passero Associates Charlotte, NC 28105 Are you a creative designer ready to take the next step in your career? Passero Associates’ Rochester, NY and Charlotte NC Office has an exciting opportunity for an Interior Designer to work on a variety of projects to include institutional, commercial, municipal, and multi-family residential. Responsibilities:

Help clients visualize their ideas while selecting furnishings and décor Assist architecture team in the development of interior design ideas including programming, space planning, concept design, schematic design, design development, construction documents and administration, and project closeout Formulate designs that are practical, aesthetic, and conducive to each project

Qualifications/ Experience:

BS degree in Interior Architecture and Design or related field 3+ years’ experience in interior design NCIDQ certification, preferred or working toward certification Proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, CAD, Revit, Sketchup and/or other modeling programs Knowledge of the construction process and ability to read/interpret construction drawings Experienced in reading project schedules, helping to manage cost expectations Knowledgeable in accessibility, codes, construction documentation, and interior material specifications Knowledge of sustainability design practices A portfolio that shows range of interior design knowledge Strong communication skills to provide teams with regular updates and/or challenges related to projects Valid driver’s license; personal vehicle Offering Competitive Salary & Benefits Package.
