Junior Designer/Preconstruction Consultant TGA Renovated Cornelius, NC 28031 • Hybrid work Job Summary We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Designer/Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a background in construction or interior design. The job will be to assist new clients with selections and work leading up to the start of their construction project. You should be able to multitask and handle multiple clients at the same time and keep everything organized. We are looking for someone proficient in SketchUp. Responsibilities Organize/pull together each client’s spec sheet based on their project Work with Director of Operations and Estimator to ensure spec sheet is accurate Introduce clients to vendors/partners where they need to make selections and help guide them in the process. (including, but not limited to cabinetry, tile, countertops, flooring, etc) Pass on builder discounts to clients Assist clients with questions on design when they are making orders/selections Ensure everything is ordered by clients on time and on site before construction begins Work with Project Management team to update them on client progress and hand them off before construction begins Keep files and documentation of orders/materials organized in our system for each project Meet in person for team meetings and sometimes when needed with clients on site. Experience Experience in interior design/construction Proficiency in Sketchup Excellent communication skills, you are a people person! Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Team player and positive!
