Position Overview:
As a Kitchen Designer at Cabinet IQ of Raleigh, you will be responsible for designing custom kitchens that blend style, function, and technology. The ideal candidate should be proficient in 2020 Design Software and have a keen eye for detail. You will work closely with clients to understand their vision, translate their needs into stunning designs, and ensure the final product meets both aesthetic and functional requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with clients to understand their design preferences, lifestyle needs, and budget. Create detailed kitchen designs using 2020 Design Software. Travel to clients’ homes to measure, remeasure, and photograph the space. Provide professional advice on layout, materials, appliances, and finishes. Develop accurate design specifications, including cabinetry, countertops, and lighting. Collaborate with the sales and project management teams to ensure seamless project execution. Ensure designs meet safety and functionality standards. Assist with product selection and sourcing. Present design concepts and make adjustments based on client feedback. Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Kitchen Designer with a strong portfolio of completed kitchen projects. Proficiency in 2020 Design Software is a must. Strong knowledge of kitchen design principles, including space planning, cabinetry, appliances, and finishes. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with clients. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Previous experience (3+ years) in a similar role is preferred.
