The ideal candidate will have a passion for kitchen design and a strong understanding of layout design principles. This role involves collaborating with clients to create functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen spaces that meet their needs and preferences. A successful Kitchen Designer will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to sell design concepts effectively. Duties Consult with clients to understand their kitchen needs, preferences, and budget. Create innovative kitchen layouts that maximize space and functionality. Utilize design software to produce detailed drawings and renderings of kitchen designs. Provide expert advice on materials, finishes, and appliances suitable for each project. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards. Collaborate with contractors and vendors during the remodeling process to ensure designs are executed accurately. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current trends in kitchen design and remodeling. Assist in retail sales by promoting kitchen products and services to potential customers. Utilize basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations related to design layouts. Qualifications Proven experience in kitchen design or a related field is preferred. Strong layout design skills with an eye for aesthetics and functionality. Knowledge of retail math principles to assist in pricing and budgeting projects. Experience in remodeling processes is a plus. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members. Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse clientele. Basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations. A background in retail sales is beneficial for promoting products effectively.
