Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant with a background in interior design to support daily operations, project tracking, vendor coordination, and design logistics. This part-time hybrid role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, an understanding of the interior design process, and a willingness to assist across multiple areas of a growing firm.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support
- Manage schedules, organize project files, maintain Dropbox folders, and support client communication. Order Tracking
- Monitor orders and shipments, follow up with vendors, and maintain detailed order logs. Vendor Coordination
- Schedule showroom visits, maintain vendor relationships, and assist with material pickups and deliveries. Project Logistics
- Assist with timelines, installation prep, and follow-ups to ensure smooth project flow. Design Assistance
- Support light drafting or presentation updates if needed (AutoCAD/SketchUp skills a plus). On-Site Support
- Occasionally visit job sites for photos, deliveries, or client walk-throughs. Marketing Help
- Assist in organizing content for social media and newsletters if interested.
Qualifications:
Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong communication and follow-through Familiarity with interior design materials and terminology Experience using Dropbox, Excel, PowerPoint and project management tools Working knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar software (a plus) Interior design degree or related background preferred Self-starter with ability to multitask and adapt
