Business development Manager – Interior Design Modish Vision DDI New York State • Remote Job Summary Modish Vision is seeking a motivated and strategic Business Developer to join our growing interior design firm. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with a passion for design, relationship building, and expanding market reach. The successful candidate will focus on lead generation, partnership development, and identifying new business opportunities within the residential and commercial interiors market in NYC. Responsibilities Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities across residential, commercial, and hospitality sectors Build strong relationships with real estate agents, developers, architects, and property managers Schedule initial consultations and support client onboarding Collaborate with the design team to align project needs with business goals Attend local networking events, real estate expos, and industry mixers to promote Modish Vision Manage CRM and track sales performance, lead activity, and KPIs Help develop and implement outbound strategies including email campaigns, cold outreach, and follow-ups Maintain industry knowledge to anticipate market shifts and client needs Qualifications Proven experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition (preferably in interior design, real estate, or luxury services) Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills Self-starter who thrives on hitting goals and working independently Understanding of interior design or construction industries is a strong advantage Comfortable using CRM software and digital tools to manage leads NYC-based or familiar with the local design/real estate market Compensation Commission-based or base + commission structure (negotiable) Performance bonuses and growth incentives Flexible schedule and remote/hybrid options available
