Kitchen and Bath Specialist Confidential Volant, PA 16156 Kitchen & Bath Designer Reputable, family owned, 75-year-old company is seeking an experienced Sales and Design Associate to help with customer kitchen and bath design projects. Showroom Sales Consultants assist customers with design and product selection for their kitchen and/or bathroom projects. Consultants provide sales quotations to customers, and process and manage customer orders.

Responsibilities:

Provide outstanding customer service & assist with design needs. Build strong client relationships and ensure follow up is completed with all customers. Prospect for new business when necessary. Schedule appointments for in-home or showroom customer consultations. Keep up to date with current products & services provided. Create detailed drawings using 2020 design software. Develop design ideas, compute budget ranges, and select various finishes. Gather space/area measurements & calculate number of materials. Accurately & efficiently translate measurements into working designs. Meet multiple project deadlines in a timely manner. Collaborate with in house team of professional tradesmen & project managers. Create and present project proposals for client approval. Communicate with vendors to determine product specifications and availability. Maintain showroom by keeping samples, displays and common areas neat, current, and clean.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years’ proven work experience in Interior Design, Kitchen & Bath Design, Showroom Sales, or similar role (REQUIRED). Strong working knowledge of 2020 design software (REQUIRED). Valid driver’s license & reliable form of transportation (REQUIRED). Basic math, computer & social media skills (REQUIRED). High school education or equivalent, associate or bachelor’s degree in communications, interior design, architectural design, or a similar field a plus. Proper phone etiquette. Ability to achieve sales goals effectively. A positive attitude and desire to exceed expectations. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving ability. Strong personal and professional judgment. Ability to adapt and respond quickly to customers’ needs and wants. Strong organizational skills & the flexibility to jump from priority to priority. Advanced time management skills and detailed oriented. Plumbing and/or kitchen and bath cabinetry knowledge. Customer service mindset. Basic Microsoft Office skills. Ability to utilize CRM/ERP software.
