Interior Designer & Materials Coordinator Renew Home Spartanburg, SC 29301 Job Overview We’re looking for a creative and organized Interior Designer & Materials Coordinator to join our growing team. You’ll collaborate directly with clients and contractors, helping bring design ideas to life while ensuring smooth coordination throughout the project. This is a contract-to-hire position that starts hourly. After a successful training and evaluation period, it has the potential to transition into a salaried, full-time role.

Responsibilities:

Work directly with clients to create custom, on-trend designs Develop design boards, mood boards, and 2D/3D renderings (a plus) Source and select materials, finishes, fixtures, and furnishings Order, inspect, and label client materials for delivery and installation Coordinate delivery schedules and project material needs Go on quotes with sales/project managers to align design with project scope and budget Prepare contractor spec sheets and project documentation Assist in prepping both clients and contractors for upcoming work Set up jobsite materials, lockboxes, cameras, and coordinate deliveries Accept occasional product packages outside normal business hours, if needed Stay current on design trends, materials, and best practices Communicate clearly and regularly with clients, vendors, and the Renew Home team

Qualifications:

Experience in interior design (formal education or self-taught•a portfolio will be requested) Strong organizational and communication skills Proficient in Google Docs and Google Sheets Familiar with design software (e.g. Canva, SketchUp, AutoCAD•a plus) Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Creative eye for space planning, materials, and layout Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM•4:00 PM Position begins at 30-35 hours per week May grow to 40 hours depending on training and company needs Must be willing to accept occasional product deliveries after hours if necessary

Pay and Benefits:
