Full-Time (on-site) Finish Point Trim and Millwork is looking for a skilled and experienced cabinet designer/account manager. We are looking for an individual who wants to work for a company that values quality work. The Cabinet Designer will be responsible for selling, pricing, and designing a variety of styles and product models for builders and contractors. They will thoughtfully consider the intended purpose of each project and use their design expertise to support clients’ style preferences when creating plans and layouts.
Job Responsibilities:
Represent the Finish Point brand and the company in a positive and professional manner, helping to increase sales. Collaborate with builders, clients, interior designers, and all internal departments to ensure a positive outcome. Provide excellent customer service to existing and prospective clients as well as internal staff. Consult with clients to determine their needs and budget to design a project layout and generate estimates. Review specifications (cabinetry appliances and fixtures), drawings, pricing, and related data for accuracy. Deliver 100% accurate designs and proposals. Review estimates with clients. Upon completion of client meeting(s), provide the team with project notes. Review design team’s final drawing to ensure accuracy and submit. Provide communication and documentation to clients with appropriate correspondence. Manage follow-up if client requests changes. Ability to initially measure cabinet layouts. Ability to create drawings (hand sketch or software based). Responsible for meeting deadlines effectively and efficiently. Perform additional clerical and other duties as requested.
Required Skills:

Strong display of cabinet production knowledge. Strong understanding of reading measurements. Ability to work well in a team environment. Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage daily activities to ensure timely and accurate results. Ability to multi-task in a team environment with frequent interruptions. Ability to pay close attention to detail and to ensure accuracy of data. Ability to develop proficiency in selected software necessary to execute projects. Ability to read and understand architectural drawings. Understand fit, function, and specification of major appliance brands. Education/Training Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Minimum 3-5+ years of Cabinetry Design & Estimating experience with Residential and/or Commercial Construction projects Proficient in reading blueprints and cabinet layouts
