Museum Wildlife Interpreter Little Ray’s Exhibitions 767 Clifton Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30307 Museum Wildlife Interpreter, Part-time/Temporary Job description Little Ray’s Exhibitions and Nature Centers is looking for a temporary Museum Interpreter to join our team at the Fernbank Museum in Atlanta for our exhibit Turtles! This exhibit features a wide variety of live turtle species! This is a great opportunity for an educator who wants to work in a supportive environment and with a fun, energetic, and dedicated staff. Weekend availability is a must. Typically 2 8-hour shifts per week (with occasional sick day or special events coverage). Starting Saturday May 26th, 2025 until September 3rd, 2025. Job Summary:

Museum Wildlife Interpreters are responsible for exotic animal care duties (cleaning habitats, feedings, etc.). Interpreters are responsible for holding informative and entertaining presentations for guests throughout the day. Interpreters will handle a wide variety of animals safely, conscientiously, and according to company policies – we will provide training on this. Interpreters will engage with the public in a warm, welcoming, positive, and professional manner. Position requires moving objects up to 50 lbs., moving throughout the gallery on your feet for long periods, pushing, pulling, bending, climbing ladders, and reaching

Qualifications:

Must be able to reliably travel to the museum Must have experience with exotic animal care Experience with public education and speaking a strong asset Must be willing to provide a current police check/background check
