Under the general direction of the Department Manager, serve as the Lead Medical Interpreter by supporting the daily operations of the Department, assisting with special projects, and acting as the department representative in the Manager#s absence.
Education:
Associate#s Degree or higher and proficiency in medical terminology required.
Licenses/Registrations:
National Medical Interpreting Certificate (either CCHI or NBCMI). International Medical Interpreters Association and/or NCIHC membership preferred.
Experience:
Two years of experience in medical/health interpreting, including public speaking; two years# clerical experience, including computer literacy and typing skills.
