The ideal candidate will be fluent in both Cape Verdean Creole, with a strong ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced medical setting. This position requires a deep understanding of medical terminology and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Duties The Cape Verdean Creole Interpreter will be responsible for facilitating communication between patients and medical professionals who speak different languages.
This will involve:
- Providing accurate and timely translations of medical records, diagnoses, and treatment plans
- Interpreting for patients who speak Cape Verdean Creole, ensuring that they fully understand their medical care and treatment options
- Collaborating with healthcare providers, social workers, and other medical staff to ensure that patients receive culturally sensitive care
