Need to have a least 60hrs of training certificate as an interpreter. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of linguistics and be able to interpret spoken or signed language in real-time. This role is essential in ensuring clear and effective communication in various settings, including healthcare, legal, educational, and community environments. Duties Interpret spoken language accurately and effectively during meetings, appointments, and events. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while handling sensitive information. Collaborate with clients to understand their specific communication needs. Provide cultural context to enhance understanding between parties. Skills Proficiency in interpreting between English and Hmong. Strong communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to convey messages clearly. Knowledge of linguistics principles to facilitate accurate interpretation. Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt quickly to changing situations during interpretation sessions.
