This in-person position is set to commence at the start of the 2024-2025 school year and focuses on providing one-on-one interpretation services, facilitating effective communication and enriching the student’s educational experience.
Qualifications:
Certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (e.g.,
NIC, SC:
L). Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) with a strong ability to interpret in educational settings. Previous experience working with children, preferably in a school environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and the student’s support team.

Mapleton, ME Responsibilities:
Provide continuous sign language interpretation for the student throughout the school day. Collaborate with educational staff to ensure effective communication and support the student’s learning.
