Category Schools – Sign Language Interpreter Job Type Contract Opening Paragraph Become a key member of a remote educational team as a Sign Language Interpreter in New Hampshire. This position offers the opportunity to support Deaf and Hard of Hearing K-12 students through live virtual interpretation and communication facilitation.
Position Details Hours:
35-37.5 weekly
Grades Supported:
K-12, with a diverse student population
Caseload Range:
40-60 students
Virtual Delivery:
Real-time classroom interpretation and communication support
Support Focus:
Academic access, social interaction, student advocacy Core Responsibilities Provide accurate sign language interpretation during online lessons and meetings Collaborate with teachers, students, and families in a virtual setting Assist with student communication needs in various educational contexts Participate in IEP meetings and consult with educational teams virtually Adhere to confidentiality and professional standards in all interactions Required Qualifications EIPA score of at least 3.5; preference for 4.0 and written EIPA certification RID/NIC certification with written test preferred At least 2 years experience interpreting in educational environments Proficient with virtual communication technologies Application Process If interested, apply here or contact: Daniela Jimenez 470-516-6256 Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled
