Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM•1:30 PM (27.5 hours/week)
Student Level:
High School Soliant Education is seeking a qualified Remote Sign Language Interpreter to provide services to a high school student in New York for the final portion of the school year. This is a fully remote, part-time position for Summer 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide real-time sign language interpretation during virtual and/or in-person instructional sessions Facilitate communication between the student and teachers, peers, and staff Support the student’s academic access in various subject areas Maintain accurate and confidential records as required Participate in team meetings or consultations, if needed
Requirements:
EIPA score of 3.5 or higher (required) Prior experience interpreting for high school students (preferred) Proficiency in educational and virtual interpreting environments Must reside in the U.S. and meet New York State compliance requirements Reliable internet connection and appropriate technology for remote interpreting
