ASL Interpreter Position Available In Saratoga, New York

Category Schools – Sign Language Interpreter Job Type Contract Providing skilled sign language interpretation for students in a K-12 school environment, this position offers a part-time opportunity to work directly with diverse learners, including a CTE student and an adult program student. The role requires proficient experience in 1:1 interpreting within educational settings and a demonstrated ability to support effective communication for students relying on sign language.

Location:

Clifton Park, NY Schedule:

Position 1: 9:30 AM – 12:45 PM (1:1 interpreting for a CTE student) Position 2: 10:30 AM – 2:45 PM (1:1 interpreting for an adult program student)

Duration:

School Year Contract Key Responsibilities:

Provide accurate and clear sign language interpretation in a classroom setting, facilitating communication between students and educational staff Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions Adapt interpreting techniques to meet the individual needs of students Collaborate with teachers and support staff to enhance student learning experiences

Qualifications and Experience:
