Responsibilities Provide accurate interpretation services for Spanish-speaking patients during medical appointments, consultations, and hospital visits. Assist healthcare providers in communicating effectively with patients regarding their medical records, treatment plans, and any necessary documentation review. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations while handling sensitive patient information. Interpret conversations in real-time, ensuring clarity and understanding for all parties involved. Collaborate with medical staff to ensure that all communication is culturally sensitive and appropriate. Stay updated on medical terminology and practices to provide the most accurate interpretation possible. Skills Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, with strong verbal communication skills. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to healthcare settings. Experience interpreting for child protective services is a plus. Familiarity with American Sign Language is an advantage but not required. Strong documentation review skills to ensure accuracy in patient records.
