Elementary School Requirements:

Valid Sign Language Interpreter certification 3.5 EIPA requested (will consider candidates with lower scores actively retaking and working toward improving) Experience in providing 1:1 support for elementary students

Responsibilities:

Attend classes with the student and interpret instruction/auditory information; at times, reteaching may be necessary so redelivery of info may be required. Assist with communication during social interactions with hearing peers. Support communication between the student and their teacher(s) Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment Collaborate with the students IEP team to ensure that the students educational goals are met
