Key Responsibilities:
Provide accurate interpretation of spoken language to students using American Sign Language. Support students with hearing impairments in accessing educational content and classroom activities. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure student progress. Maintain professional and clear communication with all stakeholders involved in the student’s education. Ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment for students with hearing disabilities.
Qualifications:
Previous experience working as an ASL Interpreter, preferably in a school setting, is preferred. Active ASL Interpreter certification required (e.g., RID, NAD, or state certification). Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other professionals.
