Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Lighting Specialist with 10 to 15 years of experience to lead high-impact lighting projects across commercial, residential, and industrial sectors. This is a hybrid role with a flexible schedule, requiring a strong background in lighting design, energy efficiency, and cutting-edge lighting technologies. The ideal candidate is a proven leader who can independently manage projects, mentor junior staff, and provide technical excellence in lighting systems

• -Key Responsibilities

• Lighting Design Leadership:

  Lead the creation and execution of innovative lighting designs that meet aesthetic, functional, and energy goals

• Technical Expertise:

  Deliver expert guidance in lighting layouts, photometric analysis, and control system specifications

• Specifications Development:

  Produce comprehensive lighting specifications aligned with industry standards and client expectations

• Product Evaluation:

  Research and assess emerging lighting technologies; recommend appropriate fixtures and control systems

• Energy Efficiency:

  Promote sustainable lighting solutions, including LEDs, lighting controls, and daylight harvesting

• Site Inspections:

  Perform site visits to ensure installation accuracy, troubleshoot complex issues, and verify compliance with design specifications

• Client Consultation:

  Engage directly with clients to understand needs and deliver tailored lighting solutions

• Project Documentation:

  Maintain meticulous records including drawings, specifications, reports, and as-built documentation

• Regulatory Compliance:

  Ensure all designs meet local and national codes, standards, and environmental regulations

• Team Leadership:

  Mentor junior designers, coordinate with engineers and architects, and ensure cohesive integration of lighting into overall project design

• -Qualifications
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field
• 10 to 15 years of professional experience in lighting design or related disciplines
• Proficiency with lighting design and photometric software (e.g., AGi32, Dialux, Revit, AutoCAD)
• Deep knowledge of LED technologies, lighting controls, and sustainable design strategies
• Strong project management and documentation skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Demonstrated history of successful lighting project delivery.
