10th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Lighting Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for servicing, installing and programming dimming systems on Cruise Ships and Yachts. This role requires a strong understanding of lighting systems and the ability to travel abroad for up to 75% of the time. Responsibilities Install lighting equipment according to specifications. This includes dimmers, relays, control panels, etc. Program lighting scenes in accordance to operational requirements. Conduct service and survey checks on dimming systems. Collaborate with operational teams to implement and program lighting solutions that enhance the overall visual experience. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to dimming systems. Skills Proficiency in programming architectural lighting systems and control systems. Strong technical and electronic skills with the ability to use an ohmmeter for testing electrical components. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Strong communication skills to coordinate with other technicians. Flexibility to travel and work abroad. Experience with Helvar, Strand, ETC or Lutron is a must.
