ABOUT THIS JOB A PRI
Productions Lighting Technician must present a professional and positive image, demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills with superior attention to detail. The Technician’s prime function is to provide AV support across a range of live events. Lighting Techs at PRI Productions are expected to understand and assist with a multitude of tasks including: Pre-event planning and resource scheduling Technical briefings Live event management Punctual delivery Break down and maintenance A desire to exceed our clients’ expectations is key. Strong customer service skills along with solid technical experience is a winning combination, enabling the ability to work independently if and when necessary. Experience with audio visual equipment and services is a must. Qualified candidates must have a strong technical background with the ability to transport, assemble, maintain and repair equipment used in multimedia production. Candidates must also demonstrate the ability to be creative and flexible while maintaining a positive attitude, often under hard deadlines.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS PROFILE / QUALIFICATIONS
At least two years of Stage Lighting experience Must understand DMX signal flow Must be familiar with hanging and focusing lights Familiarity with programming and operating lighting consoles Ability to setup, operate, and breakdown lighting equipment Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment to accomplish tasks
