out of 5 stars 1 UNF Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32224 Department Fine Arts Center, Production-OPS Compensation $13.00 Hourly Job Summary/Responsibilities Working Fine Arts Center events as a general stagehand. Assisting clients with load-in and load-out. Movement of stage equipment including podiums, lighting and sound, pianos and furnishings. Execution of lightplots and audio designs. Operation of lighting and sound equipment. Installation and rigging of stage scenery as experience dictates. Attend production and staff meetings as necessary. Other duties as assigned by the Technical Director. Required Qualifications
- Cannot be a current UNF student for this position type.
- Must be able to complete the listed job responsibilities satisfactorily and without danger to yourself or others.
- Prior experience in technical theater and production especially in backstage and crew work.
Preferred Qualifications K nowledge of lighting equipment, sound equipment and audio-visual a plus. Statement(s) of Understanding This position requires a background check.
