Event Lighting Installer $30/hr SHE Luxe Kittery, ME
EVENT AND WEDDING LIGHTING INSTALLER!
$30-$35 per hour based on experience. Fun Seasonal, freelance position for experienced lighting installers in the New England region. We are a boutique lighting and design company, based in Southern Maine, servicing all of Maine, NH, VT, and MA. We install specialty event lighting, draping, and pride ourselves on efficiency, beautiful designs, and quality installations. We are looking for hard-working and dedicated team members to join our 2025 team. This is a seasonal, part-time or contract-based position with 10-20 hours available per week, July-October. In this role you will assist in set-up, install, and design for special events and weddings.
Installation of products may include:
bistro lighting, string lights, chandeliers, draping, and other specialty hanging products. You will work alongside experienced technical installers. Previous event/wedding lighting, av, or rental installation experience is a huge plus for this role! Creativity and desire to create beautiful installations Attention to detail Typical installs and breakdowns between Thursday-Monday Must be able to lift 40-50 lbs comfortably Drive range: North shore MA up to Midcoast Maine, Vermont Must be able to work with ladders and be comfortable with heights Lift Experience a plus General knowledge of low-voltage lighting and running wires (plugging in lights) Positive and Professional attitude is a must Must be able to work 8-10hr shifts Comfortable driving company vehicles Valid Driver’s License Willing to have a background check Installs typically take place Thursday-Saturday and breakdowns on Sunday and Monday.
