$118K – $149K a year 1 day ago Qualifications Media buying 5 years Nielsen Media planning Senior level Communication skills Full Job Description Director of Media Strategy (Linear & CTV) Norwalk, CT | Hybrid, 3 days in-office Reporting to the SVP, Media & Video Innovation, Director of Media Strategy will play a key role in developing smart, integrated media strategies that drive both performance and scale. This position requires deep expertise in both connected TV (CTV) and linear TV, with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable, cross-platform media plans. You’ll work closely with our client services, analytics and media buying teams to ensure that every strategy is rooted in data, aligned with client goals, and built to perform across today’s evolving media landscape. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, detail-oriented solutionist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings a strong understanding of audience-first planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop holistic, audience-first media strategies across linear TV, CTV, OTT, and digital video platforms Lead client strategy presentations and performance reviews with clear, data-backed recommendations Collaborate with internal teams to inform and optimize flighting, targeting, frequency, and budget allocations Analyze campaign performance and identify opportunities for optimization and testing Stay up-to-date on media trends, measurement tools, and industry innovations (e.g., ACR, programmatic TV, addressability) Evaluate and recommend media partners and platforms aligned with client goals and KPIs Work with analytics to translate media insights into tangible business outcomes Support the development of new planning tools, frameworks, and templates

Qualifications:

5-7+ years of experience in media planning with a strong focus on both linear TV and CTV Proven ability to craft media strategies that balance brand and performance outcomes In-depth knowledge of media research tools (e.g., Nielsen, Comscore, iSpot, VideoAmp, MRI-Simmons) Familiarity with DSPs and CTV platforms (e.g., The Trade Desk, Amazon Ads, Yahoo! DSP, Hulu, etc.) Strong understanding of media buying workflows and cross-functional collaboration Excellent presentation, storytelling, and client-facing communication skills Data-literate with a curiosity to test, learn, and iterate Experience in DTC, retail, or omnichannel brands is a plus
