Position Summary:
We’re looking for an experiencedProgramming Director with a track record in Rhythmic CHR. This roleinvolves curating compelling local content, developing promotions,and driving ratings growth. The ideal candidate is passionate aboutconnecting with our local audience and adept at utilizing socialmedia.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop programming strategies in line with Sun Broadcasting’svision. Oversee music scheduling and playlist updates. Collaborate with on-air talent to maintain engaging localcontent. Create promotional campaigns to enhance the station brand. Analyze ratings and research data for growthopportunities. Work with sales teams on revenue-generating opportunities. Stay updated on industry trends and music releases. Recruit and mentor on-air talent. Adapt to changes in technology and audiencebehavior.
Qualifications:
5+ years in radio programming, preferably in Rhythmic CHR. Leadership skills with a focus on executing strategicgoals. Proficiency in music scheduling software and radio automationsystems. Strong analytical skills and experience with audienceresearch. Creative mindset for promotions and events. Ability to adapt to a changing media landscape. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
