Director of Association Management Confidential Bradenton, FL 34208 Job Overview The Director of Association Management plays a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the operations of a residential community. This position is responsible for ensuring the community runs smoothly, fostering a positive living environment, and enhancing resident satisfaction. The Community Director will lead a team, implement effective strategies for occupancy and retention, and maintain compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Job Duties Staff Accountability and Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor association management staff to ensure performance aligns with organizational goals and client expectations.
- Develop clear performance metrics and conduct regular evaluations to promote accountability and continuous improvement.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to enhance team productivity and morale.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the organization’s portfolio of association management clients.
- Build relationships with potential clients, presenting the value and expertise of association management services.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance visibility and promote service offerings.
Churn Reduction:
- Develop and implement strategies to improve client satisfaction and retention.
- Regularly assess client needs and feedback, ensuring responsive and effective service delivery.
- Monitor and address any factors contributing to member or client attrition.
Budget and Financial Oversight:
- Review and provide strategic input on association budgets, ensuring financial sustainability and alignment with goals.
- Monitor revenue and expenses for client associations, identifying areas for optimization.
- Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate reporting and adherence to fiscal policies.
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for high-profile clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Address client concerns promptly and effectively, maintaining long-term relationships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in association management, nonprofit leadership, or a similar field, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
