Join a Company that Empowers you to Build your Future Reporting to the Vice President of HR Corporate Functions, The Director of Talent and Recruiment develops and leads corporate initiatives to ensure that talent management, workforce planning and talent acquisition programs utilizing data analytics and measurements. This position will also oversee strategy for full cycle recruitment in sourcing the best talent for Lennar as well as maintaining effective programs for retention, promotion, and succession planning. The position oversees the Talent Acquisition Team currently consisting of three team members. This position is based in Miami, FL. A career with purpose. A career built on making dreams come true. Team Talent Acquisition:
Develop a regional recruitment strategy designed to recruit top talent for the region and create a talent pipeline for field positions in alignment with corporate strategy and goals. Serve as the lead business partner with hiring managers and Regional Leaders to develop effective sourcing and recruitment strategies that result in client satisfaction. Develop effective relationships within the organization and the hiring community to have influence and impact the recruiting process and hiring. Oversee the Recruitment Team to ensure that they meet goals with regards to Recruit full-time, part-time, temporary, contractual and intern Associates. Manage full life cycle recruitment (post, source, prescreen, schedule, background, references, offer, onboarding, etc.). Complete hiring process within defined metrics to minimize overall time-to-start. Develop appropriate marketing strategies, define roles and responsibilities of hiring team, and develop service-level agreements to ensure an effective and efficient recruitment lifecycle while minimizing cost-per-hire.
Talent Management:
Manage the maintenance and execution of the performance management system, including current job descriptions, standards of performance and performance evaluation instruments. Partner with Division and Regional Leaders and the HR Team to identify talent gaps in capability and bench strength and develop a plan to address them. Create and maintain an environment where Everyone’s Included and foster a culture of equal employment opportunity, diversity, and competitive advantage. Work closely with the Senior Director of HRIS to collect and analyze aggregated data to provide recommendations and insight into areas of opportunity within the organization. Work with the training and development department to leverage internal and external programs that focus on enabling Associates to achieve improvements and create value for the business.
Workforce Planning:
Utilizing business analytics, work with division and regional leaders to forecast talent needs on a quarterly and yearly basis to allow the business to manage talent and talent acquisition to meet those needs and fill gaps. Work with Talent Acquisition and Talent Management to ensure that the talent pipeline is robust and ready to fill immediate needs and future demands. Develop Regional succession planning tools in conjunction with Corporate HR to determine bench strength and forecast for key positions. Requirements Superior verbal and written communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Excellent interpersonal, counseling, and negotiation skills. Strong presentation skills. Excellent leadership skills. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Ability to design and implement full-cycle performance management programs.
Education and Experience:
10+ years of broad HR experience including talent management and performance management. Recent experience recruiting in multiple discipline areas and levels, including hiring for nonexempt, exempt and leadership positions. Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field or equivalent experience. Experience designing, developing, and supporting organization-wide talent management programs that cover performance management, talent development, succession planning, data analytics and relationship management. Previous experience in capturing metrics and producing various employment reports. Experience in all areas of sourcing such as the internet, social media, networking, employee referrals, job postings, as well as conducting open houses and virtual job fairs. Experience in working with applicant tracking systems and affirmative action plan requirements. Current SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP or
