Your impact Design, manage and execute talent management and leadership development strategies, while supporting IDE initiatives for the LATAC business unit. These efforts aim to enhance individual capability, strengthen organizational bench, boost employee engagement, and improve business performance; all in alignment with global standards and systems. As part of our team you will Create the LATAC talent strategy that aligns with the global strategy. Design, implement and facilitate leadership development programs for employees in all levels of the organization, in the LATAC business unit and Projects. Implement and facilitate talent assessments, succession planning, performance management and calibration for employees in the LATAC business unit and Projects. Support in the implementation of Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity (IDE) programs and Business Resource Groups (BRGs) for employees in the Business Unit. Develop tactics to improve inclusion, diversity and equity through talent management and leadership development programs. Build and improve talent development programs such as early career and apprenticeship for the business unit and Projects in the business unit geography. Prerequisites for your success in this role Proven ability to lead cross-functional and multicultural teams and navigate complex environments. Proven experience in designing, implementing and facilitating talent management programs (including performance management, talent assessment, succession planning, employee development planning, and career frameworks). Familiarity with IDE (Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity) strategies. Strong understanding of change management principles and communication strategies. Expertise in leadership development program design and governance. Billingual in English and Spanish. Experience with Prosci Change Management and System Leadership (nice to have). Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Your work environment The preferred location for candidates is near our regional LATAC office, in Miami, Florida. However highly qualified candidates near our regional office, or any of our site locations, will be considered. The ideal candidate should be available for business trips throughout the region and to our corporate office, in Denver, Colorado. Collaboration and interaction are expected with teams across the global, regional, and site organization as well as across other service and operational areas of Newmont across multiple time zones.
