Month Contract Position Location:
Hybrid (3 days Orlando office, 2 days remote) with approximately 35% travel to resorts across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean. About the
Role:
As the Director of Architectural Interior Design, you’ll lead the design and execution of renovations, new developments, and capital projects for our resorts, ensuring alignment with our client’s standards. You’ll manage cross-functional teams and external consultants, driving design vision while maintaining exceptional communication and stakeholder satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Project Leadership:
Oversee third-party architects, engineers, and interior designers, ensuring projects meet budget, timeline, and design intent.
Strategic Planning:
Develop and manage project schedules, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
Design Review:
Analyze proposals, design documents, and technical drawings for quality and compliance.
Budget Management:
Review and approve vendor and contractor bids, ensuring budget alignment.
Stakeholder Communication:
Provide regular project status reports to stakeholders, addressing progress, budgets, and timelines.
Documentation:
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, budgets, and critical files.
Project Closeout:
Manage project closeout, including as-built drawings, warranties, and operations manuals.
Construction Administration:
Serve as the primary point of contact for construction administration, ensuring contractual compliance.
What You’ll Bring:
Travel Flexibility:
Ability to travel approximately 35%, including short-notice and international travel (passport required).
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
12+ years of progressive leadership in hospitality Interior Design or Architecture, with significant management experience. New hospitality construction experience is essential; renovations experience is a plus.

Collaboration:
Strong teamwork and collaborative skills.
Communication:
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Construction Knowledge:
Deep understanding of construction management, codes, documents, and project delivery.
Technical Proficiency:

Reserve Programs:
Familiarity with reserve programs and capital planning.
Team Leadership:
Proven ability to lead design and engineering teams.
Consultant Management:
Experience managing external design firms and consultants.
Software Proficiency:
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Procore is a plus. #
