Primary responsibilities will involve optimizing and scalingexisting marketing campaigns and channels, while consistentlygenerating and testing new ideas that can grow into key revenuedrivers. This is a critical role for the company with directbusiness impact ensuring we capture as much demand while alsomaintaining a balance between CAC and customer lifetime value. Theideal candidate will combine his or her deep understanding of thedigital media landscape, a performance mindset, and incessantconsumer curiosity to consistently generate creative newexperiments, ranging from new audience targets, new channels orbidding strategies, etc. to drive growth and ROI. We are lookingfor a Director, Media who is very analytical, data driven and hyperfocused on driving growth. In conjunction with Park Marketing andFinance teams, provide reporting and analytics for park admissionsproducts. Lead national and local media planning and execution acrossoffline and online channels such as TV, radio, OOH, print, directmail, search, display, mobile, social, OLV, OTT and affiliatemarketing. Responsible for media planning, execution and optimizations toeffectively reach the core target and deliver against sales andtraffic goals. Manage and supervise a team in day to day media managementwhile also leading the process of strategic mediaplanning/execution and serving as a resource for the team. Identify new sources of customer acquisition through emergingplatforms, partners, strategies and channels. Improve the forecast for each channel, make budget and goalrecommendations, and manage SWE’s media investment to drive optimalROI. Track the core performance KPI’s on a day-to-day basis, makingsure that the team is executing and optimizing in real time to hitgoals. Optimize planning and measurement strategies, including thedefinition of key performance metrics to improve customeracquisition cost and LTV. Manage and maintain relationships with relevant 3rd partyvendors and partner agencies. Ensure consistent, high-quality workfrom our existing external partners, and build out strategy tomaximize partnerships. Present and sell through key findings and future plans toSenior internal stakeholders. Perform other duties as assigned.
What it takes to succeed: Bachelor’s degree in related field. 5+ years in managerial role leading a team. Experience in media strategy and marketing analytics. Theme park or hospitality industry with focus on guestrelations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strong organizational and communication skills, attention todetail. Willingness to work flexible hours to meet team outputexpectations. Strong presence with ability to interact and partner withSenior leadership. Ability to work independently while able to multi-task in afast-paced environment. Outstanding written, verbal, analytical and presentationskills; ability to effectively distill and communicate actionableinsights. Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Strong time management and organization skills; ability to workindependently in a fast-paced environment and manage multipleprojects.
