The Director of Sales will be responsible for developingand executing sales strategies to meet revenue targets, managing ateam of sales professionals, and ensuring compliance withregulatory requirements.

Principal Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue andgrowth targets, identifying opportunities for new sales channelsand leading the expansion into new markets. Hire, manage, and provide coaching and support to a team ofsales professionals to ensure they meet performance targets andprovide excellent customer service. Manage key client relationships, including identifyingopportunities to upsell and cross-sell insurance products andservices. Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance productsand services, ensuring that sales professionals are equipped toprovide accurate and timely advice to clients. Monitor sales performance and provide feedback and coaching toimprove productivity and meet performance targets. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and companypolicies and procedures. Collaborate with other departments to ensure that the insurancedivision is integrated effectively with other business lines. Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends andcompetitor activities and adjust strategies accordingly.

Education,Experience, Skills and Abilities Requirements:

Strong leadership skills and ability to manage ahigh-performing team. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Stronganalytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to develop andimplement sales strategies to meet revenue targets. In-depth knowledge of property & casualty insurance regulationsand compliance requirements. Ability to work collaboratively with other departments toachieve organizational goals. Must demonstrate core values, exuding behavior aligned with thefirm’s culture. License(s): Current State issued Property and Casualty AgentLicense, or General Lines Agent License. Maintains all licenses as required by the State Department ofInsurance to provide service, consultation, and financial risktransfer solutions in states where the firm functions. Self-starter with the ability to influence others througheffective verbal and written presentation skills. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel,Publisher, and PowerPoint, and the ability to learn any otherappropriate insurance company and firm software programs.
