Job Description Summary:
As the Sr Director Commercial Strategy and Operations over Still Brands, this role will serve as the major intersection (lead) in the organization between our still brands and Commercial to build winning commercial plans, tools, resources and be the day-to-day GM over the category. This lead will be the lead to communicate initiatives to bottlers and customer teams. The role also acts as the primary source of feedback to the brand/category from customers, channels and geographic teams in addition to managing any issues requiring alignment across channels. They will also develop category-specific multi-year commercial plans for implementation across channels, customers and bottlers. This role will lead the team of Directors for base business commercial strategy, Innovation and Programs leads and Canada still commercialization. This includes overseeing the innovation processes, crossroads alignment, the base business performance and acceleration, alignment with supply chain on initiatives and interaction with all bottler subcommittees. This role will have 7 direct reports What You’ll Do for Us Act as the major intersection (lead) in the organization between the Still Brand Teams and the system that supports our bottlers and customer teams Strategic development of the commercial strategy for the assigned brands Amplification plans to bring the brands and product lines to life Lead the team on all innovation and amplification projects See through the transition of Topo Chico mineral water to the bottling system. Lead system and cross functional alignment Own cross-channel view for assigned brands to ensure coherency / consistency. Lead the TM commercial plans and develop the tools to deliver best in class in market execution. Deliver on results for base business and innovation Collaborate with the broader commercial team to ensure the application of key category plans into channel commercial plans and PicOS Minimum Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s Degree; MBA or other Graduate Degree Preferred 5-10 Years of experience, preferably in the consumer goods/beverages industry Leadership and experience working across multiple channels – e.g., large store, small store, and Foodservice/On Premise channels Brand/category management experience Proven track record of ability to not only embrace change, but to drive it Collaborating with brand/category teams and other key internal/external stakeholders; effective in influencing wide variety of stakeholders Effectively communicates & builds relationships at all organizational levels; communicates long-term vision and shorter-term opportunities through clear & simple messages. Preferred 10-15 Years of experience, preferably in the consumer goods/beverages industry General management experience Customer/Sales management experience
