Manage customer portfolio and develop the business for Aroma Performance business by generating business information and developing commercial strategies and plans; steer and manage the sales activity covering a customer portfolio through a commercial team in line with market or business unit objectives; support business growth and work to achieve the Commercial plan targets in terms of volume, sales and margin. Responsible for operational marketing plan deployment, sales forecasting, and pricing policies definition implementation; elaborate and support the implementation of the regional commercial plan and contribute to the development of the global commercial plan; set the objectives, build the budgets, and negotiate the targets for the team and provide guidance on prioritization; develop forecast at the appropriate level of accuracy to enable inventory management, financial performance, and service level achievement at customers; define a strategy concerning the relations with business partners, identify and analyze possible collaborations and develop and manage collaborations with selected partners; negotiate and manage customer contracts; ensure the commercial team is executing the sales and marketing plan; organize the promotion of the product portfolio in coordination with marketing; control expenses and incomes, profit and loss, and propose resource allocation. At least 20% travel, both domestic and international, required for company and customer meetings and production plant visits.

Requirements:

Requires Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or closely related field and three years of experience in job offered or as Regional Account Manager, Global Key Account Manager, Business Development Manager, or Strategic Marketing Manager or in similar position(s) in the industrial chemicals market.

Skills required: Background in education, training, or experience must include proven ability to generate deep customer insights in order to develop and manage an account plan; demonstrated knowledge of business case analysis (including cost/benefit analysis) and development models and the ability to apply this knowledge to develop business cases; demonstrated knowledge of direct and indirect competitive landscape; proven ability to build, negotiate and manage contracts with business partners; proven ability to solicit customers through traditional data collection method (voice of customer survey, focus group, one-on-one interviews, etc.); demonstrated knowledge of negotiation concepts and techniques and ability to apply them in order to obtain agreement between two or more parties who may have different interests; proven ability to identify and articulate the value associated with product offerings at a total market or industry perspective.

Salary:

$225,451 per year; bonus potential (up to 10% of eligible earnings).
