The Associate Director/Director, Commerce Media is a highly visible and strategically important role at PubMatic, reporting into the VP, Commerce Media. This person will help shape the future of Commerce Media by providing new solutions to Commercepanies and advertisers that will fuel the next phase of industry growth. We are looking for an individual to provide significant contributions to ourmercial efforts by building upon their experience working in the Commerce Media space and bringing ha keen understanding of how to leverage first-party data assets, dynamics of retail media technology and understanding of the programmatic landscape.
Working out of our New York City office the role will be tasked with growing our relationships with major Commerce Media and Retail Media Networks enhancing their current media and audience monetization strategies and selling in new technology solutions to support all aspects of their media business.
The ideal candidate has experience building new relationships withmerce and retail mediapanies, enjoys networking at industry functions, and isfortable in a fast-paced, ad-tech environment.
The role requires an innate ability to think creatively and collaborate with others in executing long-term, growth plans with Commerce Media partners. The candidate should befortable dealing with senior executives and be experienced in working on large, strategic partnerships that require a consultative sales approach. The candidate should be able to demonstrate a strong kledge of audience monetization tactics as they relate to Commerce Media. The candidate will evangelize the use of PubMatic’s Connect platform to help Commerce Media customers deliver on and offsite audience monetization, and a seamless buyer experience for agencies and brands.

What You’ll Do:

Key to this role will be prospecting, qualifying and closing new enterprise relationships, ensuring they understand the benefits of our suite of Commerce Media products
Communicate the PubMatic Commerce Media strategy to prospects, clients and industry partners
Define and execute account strategies with Commerce Media customers to ensure long-term success andanize quarterly business reviews
Be responsible to deliver a quarterly revenue & customer acquisition goal tied to Commerce Media revenue
Collaborate cross functionally, in particular with ourAd Solutions team, to ensure we are delivering succcessful oues for our Commerce Media customers and buyers
Garner insights and feedback from clients that can be used to inform product development to help shape the future ofmerce media at PubMatic
Travel as necessary in support of business objectives. This role is based in New York City and focused on the North America market

Who You Are:

5+ years of relevant experience in Retail or Commerce Media technology
Strong relationships with decision makers at retailers ormerce mediapanies
Past experience guidingplex, enterprise deals that may involve collaboration between multiple internal and external stakeholders
Solution oriented: able to shape the roadmap of features requested by clients and lead discussion in relationship with our Product Management, Product Marketing and Audience/Publisher Development teams
Understand the dynamics of the Commerce Media landscape, who the main players and platforms are, and how to identify and execute on opportunities
Kledge of the programmatic ecosystem including SSPs, DSPs and data platforms.
Has a start-up and business builder mentality,fortable working in a dynamic environment
Superbmunicator and service-oriented leader
Ability to present effectively to C-level senior executives and confidently navigate challenges, converting them to opportunities
