Position Overview We are seeking a highlymotivated and experienced Director Commercial, Data to drive ourefforts in identifying and closing data-driven marketing servicesdeals with large enterprise clients. The ideal candidate willpossess a proven track record of leveraging a robust network ofindustry relationships within the marketing departments of Fortune500 brands to fast-track high-value opportunities and navigatecomplex enterprise sales cycles. This role will focus heavily onprospecting, building strategic relationships, and acceleratingrevenue growth by securing major enterprise accounts. TheCommercial Director will own the deal lifecycle for our consultingand data service offerings spanning retained teams to fixed feeprojects. You will be responsible for both generating leads as wellas qualifying and closing inbound leads, managing pitch teams andscoping proposals, and working with our legal and technical teamsto navigate complicated procurement processes through to initialcontract signature. Once an account is onboarded you will manageclient satisfaction with key stakeholders and work closely with thefulfillment teams to identify further room for growth.

KeyResponsibilities:

Develop and execute a strategic sales plan toidentify, target, and close deals with large enterprises. Leveragean established network of industry connections to gain access tokey decision-makers and influencers within target organizations.

Proactively prospect and qualify high-value opportunities, ensuringalignment with company objectives and market positioning. Build andnurture strong, long-term relationships with enterprise clients,acting as a trusted advisor and partner. Manage complex,multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles from initial engagementthrough contract negotiation and closure. Collaborate withcross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, product, customer success)to tailor solutions to meet enterprise client needs. Stay informedabout industry trends, competitive landscape, and emergingtechnologies to identify new opportunities and inform salesstrategies. Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, andperformance reports to senior leadership. Represent the company atindustry events, conferences, and networking opportunities toenhance visibility and credibility.

Requirements:

Proven success inenterprise sales of data, technology & measurement solutions, witha focus on securing and managing large accounts. An understandingof enterprise data strategies, cloud infrastructure, and martech,with a demonstrated ability to effectively engage and influencedecision-makers in these domains Extensive rolodex ofenterprise-level connections and a demonstrated ability to leveragethese relationships to close deals in the area of data &measurement. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, andnegotiation skills. Experience navigating complex sales cycles andengaging with senior-level executives and procurement teams. Stronganalytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a track record ofachieving and exceeding sales targets. Proficiency with CRM toolsand sales analytics platforms. Adaptability to thrive in afast-paced startup environment, with a focus on delivering results.

Qualifications:

5 years of experience in sales.

Superb presentation skills, serving as the face and quarterback ofeach pitch team and representing Monks in front of CMO-levelaudiences Strong project management and organizational skills, withthe ability to manage multiple sales efforts simultaneously.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaboratewith diverse teams and partners. A history of leading negotiationsat an enterprise level, and the patience and focus to navigateelaborate procurement requirements and align responses withinternal legal, financial, and infosec requirements. Proven abilityto close six to eight-figure enterprise deals. Skilled in creatingslides, proposals, scoping sheets and contract drafts suitable foran executive audience. Familiarity with procurement processessystems such as Coupa and GEPSmart Willing and able to travel asneeded.

Salary Range:

$120,000 – $140,000 per year

AdditionalCompensation:
