POSITION OVERVIEW
The Director of Stadium Production Technology will be responsible for all A/V and event production elements for major and private events at GEODIS Park and Vanderbilt Health Training Center.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for all A/V & event production including, but not limited to, videoboards, field boards, lighting, and IPTV systems.
Lead the control room staff at events including staffing, scheduling, and supervision of all match day staff.
Manage A/V responsibilities of staff for all private events.
Oversee operation of all digital venue signage.
Serve as point of contact for all production and broadcast organizations producing and transmitting broadcast from GEODIS Park.
Manage incoming services such as cable to ensure proper function and maximum efficiency.
Manage installation and operation of all televisions throughout the stadium.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage two (2) full-time employees and multiple part-time and event day staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
Familiarity with Dante audio, Yamaha digital consoles, Creston AV systems, Riedel intercom, ETC lighting controls, Sony Broadcast cameras
Minimum of five (5) years of experience
Must demonstrate an ability to effectively manage multiple priorities under strict deadlines.
Candidate must have strong verbal and written skills.
Prior experience with a sports organization and stadium/arena is preferred.
Experience with managing expectations of key stakeholders, both internal and external.
Liaison with suppliers, vendors, contractors and third parties.
Project management and implementation of large and small complex.
Skilled in producing reports, documentation, and comprehensive project plans.
Able to work non-traditional hours in non-traditional settings within a team atmosphere.
Must be able to lift to 50 pounds.
