RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement strategies to drive fleet salesgrowth. Identify target markets and build relationships with keystakeholders. Analyze market trends to forecast future salesopportunities. Establish and maintain strong relationships with new andexisting customers. Work closely with clients to understand their needs, recommendappropriate vehicle solutions, and address any concerns or issuesregarding fleet purchases. Lead and manage a team of fleet sales representatives. Set performance goals and KPIs for the sales team. Train, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve andexceed targets. Structure fleet deals, including financing options. Ensure deals comply with company policies and legalrequirements. Coordinate with vehicle manufacturers and distributors tosecure inventory and competitive pricing. Work with manufacturers to keep up with product developmentsand offerings that could appeal to fleet buyers. Participate in industry trade shows and events to build brandawareness and generate leads. Organize promotional events, such as product launches or fleetdemonstrations. Track key metrics such as lead conversion rates, average dealsize, and customer retention. Monitor expenses and ensure that the department operates withinbudget constraints. Other tasks as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 5 years of fleet or commercial sales, withleadership experience preferred. Strong managerial skills to lead a team effectively. Ability to negotiate large, complex deals. In-depth understanding of the automotive industry and fleetmanagement. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to understand and meet the unique needs of fleetcustomers. Ability to interpret sales data and trends for businessimprovement. A Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field -extensive experience may be sufficient. Ability to thrive under pressure and meet sales targets. Valid Driver’s License. Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drugscreen.
