Job Description
⚐ ⚑ ⚑ Lobster Mascot for Doug’s Seafood (Bonita Springs, FL) ‹ image 1 of 1 › 3411 Bonita Beach Rd, Unit 307, 308, 309, 310. 311 compensation: $20 an hour
Key Responsibilities:
Wear the Lobster costume and stand outside Doug’s Seafood to attract attention and encourage customers to visit. Hold promotional signs and engage with the public in a fun, friendly, and approachable manner. Attend special events and festivals to represent Doug’s Seafood, hand out promotional materials, and engage with the community. Encourage social media engagement by inviting customers to take photos with the Lobster and tagging the restaurant. Assist in creating excitement and enthusiasm about upcoming events or specials. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure the mascot is used in a way that supports restaurant promotions. Assist with other promotional activities as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Outgoing, energetic, and fun personality with a strong enthusiasm for engaging with people. Comfortable working in a mascot costume for extended periods. Ability to work in various weather conditions (including heat and sun exposure) while remaining cheerful and professional. Availability for weekend and evening shifts, as well as flexibility for special events. Previous experience in customer service, entertainment, or promotions is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods while wearing the mascot costume. Ability to move around and perform actions to engage with the public in a positive and exciting way.
