Full Job Description Location:

Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) in Orlando, FL.

Overview:

As part of the Visual Information Support Services (VISS) team, this is a hybrid position that is primarily focused within the Photography and Video Conferencing departments, providing media solutions for the Department of Defense.

Responsibilities:

Primary job responsibilities for this position will take place within the Photography and Video Conferencing support areas, with additional responsibilities in the field of Audio Visual, as necessary. Photography support – tasks include but are not limited to: Studio photography (passport, ISOPREP, official portraits, DA photos, etc.) and On Location photography (ceremonies, conventions, retirements, etc.) and performing any necessary photo editing, cropping, re-touching, color correction, etc. Video Conferencing support – tasks include but are not limited to: facilitation of classified and unclassified video conferences, scheduling, system installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and room design specs. Audiovisual support – tasks include but are not limited to: conference room/boardroom meeting support, video camera operation, live event production, basic video editing, CD/DVD duplication, and CCTV support. Ensure work requests are properly documented and completed for all work generated. Ensure that all product deliverables are quality control inspected in accordance with Company Quality Control Procedures. Keep departmental calendars up-to-date and ensure the Team Lead is notified of upcoming high-profile events or potential scheduling conflicts. Work efficiently on both individual and team projects. Demonstrate great communication skills and exemplary customer service. Perform other duties, as assigned.

Experience:

Associate’s degree (A.

A. / A. S.

) in Photography, Audio/Visual or equivalent from a technical school as well as related on-the-job experience. 3+ years of experience in Photography and proficiency in Photoshop is preferred. Studio photography experience is a plus. Military photography experience is a plus. Position is contingent on applicant’s ability to successfully obtain a favorable government background check.
